Why For Free?

  • The organisers are contributing their own funds to establish this cause for the satisfaction of seeing it come to life.
  • There is nothing to buy and no obligation in any way.
  • Eventually as the project grows, we may apply for funding through Arts and Community projects.
  • We also hope to foster a community of people volunteering their time with making the worthwhile words and sending them on to schools and community organisations who may benefit from displaying them.
  • Schools and organisations can also make them for themselves or just apply to have one sent to them, free of charge, no obligation.
Why For Free?

When we see a work of art that someone has put time and care into, it “warms the heart”.  If this is also made for public display, with no desire for money, the feeling of a ‘gift’ to the community may be even greater.
